boost.wax was a system that allowed dApps to cover the cost of CPU and NET resources for their users via My Cloud Wallet.

You can achieve the same functionality by using WharfKit with the transact-plugin-resource-provider plugin which should be compatible with all wallets. However this does invole building your own API to provide the resources to the users.
